A sorrowful tale of a burdened life expressed through dark ambiences perturbed with unforgiving aggressions of death. The soundscapes of Book One are an emotional blend of classical subtlety and metallic force engendered by haunting strings, aroused by churning guitars, and awoken by chaotic vocals.

Worst music I ever - I found this somewhere listed under doom metal. It isn t. A review I read said that Book One will be appreciated by dark and dramatic people everywhere. Wow, what a great thing to say. Dramatic people? I know very few people who would be proud to call themselves dramatic. Another review said something like I am pretty sure they hired the actor who played Gollum to do the voices. Ooo, wow, I need to hear this, I thought. What a piece of s***. Honestly, this is just bad. It is really pathetic and hard to listen to. I can appreciate most forms of metal for what they are (and almost all of them are a little bit too silly to be taken seriously, which I find not to be problematic but sort of endearing, usually). This one just made me embarrassed to listen to because someone clearly spent almost half an hour of his life putting this thing together. He just kind of jerks around with a synthesizer and makes his voice sound scary or something. It is all so cheesy and affectatious that I couldn t listen for more than 10 minutes. I will not say anything meaner than that because the person who made this CD will probably read this and I don t want to hurt his feelings too much.
